SILO Lab

사일로랩(SILO Lab.)은 공학, 디자인, 영상을 베이스로 하는 미디어 아티스트들이 모여 설립한 인터랙티브 미디어아트 스튜디오입니다. 이들은 다양한 미디어 테크놀로지를 활용하여 기술과 예술의 경계를 넘나들며 관객들에게 몰입형 경험(Immersive Experience)을 제공합니다.

기술과 예술의 접점에서 기존에 존재하지 않았던 경험을 창조하기 위해 끊임없이 새로움을 연구하고 더 나아가 예술로 구현합니다. 사일로랩이 선보이는 작업들은 기술을 힘입어 우리가 상상하는 것을 현실화시키며 세상에 없던 새로움으로 사람들에게 즐거운 경험을 선사합니다.

자연을 모티브로 한 사일로랩의 작품 세계는 어렵고 멀게만 느껴지던 디지털 미디어를 감성적으로 다가오게 만들며 수동적인 관람을 넘어 관객의 적극적인 참여를 통해 소통하고 우리 곁에 익숙했던 시공간을 새로운 공감각으로 해석해냅니다.

SILO Lab. is an interactive media art studio established by media artists who majored in engineering, design and video. We use various media technologies to cross the boundaries of technology and art, providing the audience with immersive experiences.

In an attempt to create experiences that have never existed at the intersection of technology and art, we constantly carry out research and express them through art. SILO Lab.‘s works bring interesting experiences via the uniqueness that has never existed before by realizing our imaginations with technology.

The world of SILO Lab.’s works with the motif of nature makes the digital media, which used to be distant and difficult, emotionally approachable, communicates with the audience by encouraging active participation, and expresses the time and space we are familiar with as a new synesthesia.
