Overview
청와대와 젊은 작가들의 컬래버레이션 전시 <어서 와, 봄>이 2018년 청와대 사랑채에서 열렸다.
테이프아트부터 그라피티, 미디어아트, 식물세밀화, 펜드로잉, 한국화까지 다양한 분야에서
개성 있는 작품세계를 선보여온 작가들(개인 5인, 1개 팀)의 그림 46점, 벽화 2점, 미디어아트 1점이 전시되는
<어서 와, 봄> 전시에는 한반도 평화가 가져온 변화를 젊은 감각으로 풀어낸 작품들을 만날 수 있었다.
30대 청년들로 구성된 미디어아티스트 그룹 사일로랩(SILO Lab)은 한반도 화해를 주제로 관객 참여 작품 '묘화(描和)'를 선보인다.
'화해를 그리다'는 뜻의 '묘화(描和)'는 폐목재와 백열등 104개로 만들었다.
쓰임을 다 하고 버려지는 것들에 대한 슬픔과 연민을 담은 동명의 작품 '묘화(妙火)'에
인터랙션 기능을 더해 희망적 메시지로 재해석한 작품이다.
조형물 앞에서 관객 두 명이 손을 맞잡으면 빛이 더욱 밝아지고 희망찬 음악이 흘러나온다.
The collaborative exhibition <Come, Spring> between the Blue House and young artists was held in Sarangchae, the Blue House in 2018.
The exhibition 'Peace, A New Inspiration' features 46 paintings, 2 murals, and 1 media art piece by artists (5 individuals and 1 team)
who have presented unique works in various fields, from tape art to graffiti, media art, botanical drawings, pen drawings, and Korean paintings.
The exhibition presents works that interpret the changes brought about by peace on the Korean Peninsula with a young sensibility.
SILO Lab, a media artist group in their 30s, presents the audience participation work 'Mysterious Fire(描和)' on the theme of reconciliation on the Korean Peninsula.
'Mysterious Fire(描和)', which means 'drawing reconciliation', was made with 104 waste wood and incandescent light bulbs.
This work reinterprets the work of the same name, 'Myohwa (妙火)', which contains sadness and compassion
for things that are thrown away after being used up, with an interactive function, and gives it a hopeful message.
When two viewers hold hands in front of the sculpture, the light becomes brighter and hopeful music flows out.
