<잔별>은 무한한 우주 속 쏟아지는 별들을 나타낸 라이팅 인스톨레이션 (Lighting Installation) 작품이다. 사일로랩은 수년간 디지털 기술을 활용해 재해석한 자연을 전시장 내부로 가져오는 작업 중에 있다. 우주를 연상시키는 칠흑같이 어둡고 끝을 알 수 없는 검은 공간 속에서 반짝이는 빛은 밤하늘의 별을 떠올린다. 여전히 미지의 세계로 일컬어지는 우주를 예술적인 시도를 통해 경험할 수 있도록 인도한다. 주변에 작은 빛조차 허용하지 않는 이 작업은 관람객들을 고립된 환경 속에서 덩그러니 놓여 있는 듯하게 만든다. 이를 통해 관람객들에게 감각적인 경험을 제공하고, 경험을 넘어 깊은 교감을 이끌어내고자 한다.

<Stardust> is a lighting installation that depicts stars pouring down in the infinite universe. Silo Lab has been working on bringing nature, reinterpreted using digital technology for many years, into the exhibition hall. The sparkling light in the pitch-black, endless black space reminiscent of space reminds us of the stars in the night sky. It guides us to experience the universe, which is still called an unknown world, through artistic attempts. This work, which does not even allow a small amount of light around, makes the viewers feel as if they are placed in an isolated environment. Through this, it aims to provide the viewers with a sensory experience and elicit a deep connection beyond the experience.

<찬별>은 밤하늘 아래로 쏟아지는 별들을 표현한 키네틱 라이트아트 (Kinetic Light Art) 작품이다. 거대한 수조 위로 움직이는 빛의 조각들은 상하로 움직이며 찬란하게 빛나는 밤하늘의 모습을 재현한다. 별은 순환하는 수직적 공간들 중 가장 위에 있다. <찬별>은 별들 중 가장 지구와 가까운 별들로, 도시의 빛과 가장 가까이 맞닿아있는 별에서 영감을 받았다. 큰 별은 나와 위치적으로 매우 가까이 있는 것만 같다. 찬란함은 훌륭하거나 화려함을 뜻한다. 동경하던 도시의 빛과 가장 가까이 있는 별빛은 오히려 도시에서 멀어져야만 볼 수 있다. 가까이 가면 볼 수 없고 멀어져야만 볼 수 있다. 이렇게 가까운 듯 멀리 있는 이 빛은 찬란하지만 동시에 아련함을 준다.

<Starglow> is a kinetic light artwork that depicts the stars pouring down the night sky. The pieces of light moving up and down the huge water tank recreate the brilliantly shining night sky. The Star is the closest star to Earth among the stars, was inspired by the star closest to the light of the city. The large star appears to be very close in position to the viewer. Brilliant means splendid. The light of the city one longed for and the closest starlight can only be seen when one is farther away from the city. One cannot see it when one gets close, one can only see it when one is far away. This light, which seems so close but far away, is brilliant but gives a sense of nostalgia at the same time.
